The T-shirt design created by the Artour Association for the Promotion of Visual and Multimedia Culture is based on the traditional sailor shirt with blue and white stripes, a motif associated with islands, the sea, sailing and seafarers. In a contemporary interpretation by designer Dragutin Dado Kovačević, the pattern is transformed into blue-and-white waves, letters and words that identify particular locations and place names. At first glance it appears to be a chaotic play of lines, words and letters that are not immediately readable and require some effort, but this also awakens the viewer's curiosity. In addition to being a modern souvenir, the ART-shirt island sailor shirt is original workwear, particularly suitable for employees in tourism and hospitality.
