MRRFEU Participation in Škraping 2025 Event

As every year in March, the trekking race known as Škraping was held on Pašman island. It earned its name from running over „škrape“ - sharp coastal rocks and stone terrain. At the start, runners receive an island map with checkpoints to complete in the shortest possible time.
Its unique and challenging nature attracts extreme sport enthusiasts from across Europe and the world, boosting island and nationwide promotion as an active holiday destination. Recognizing its quality, Škraping holds the prestigious „Croatian Island Product“ label.

Alongside Škraping, the traditional Island Products Fair is held annually to encourage island production and preserve authentic local goods. Over 40 exhibitors from Adriatic islands participate, many holding our „Croatian Island Product“ label.

Since HOP labeling began in 2007, 80 island entities on Pašman have received labels for 127 products/lines, with 9 entities actively holding labels for 19 products/lines today.

Visitors are also treated to local gastronomy, high-quality accommodations, and a wide array of service activities.

The end result is sports promotion, tourism exposure for the island, and the valuation and conservation of natural and cultural heritage.
